Twilight: New Moon Widgets

Here’s a nifty widget we threw together before the 2009 MTV Movie Awards show. The goal was to drive tune-in and hype the Twilight: New Moon trailer. Seems to have worked, the trailer drew 5.9 million streams, 2.2 million MTV News article pageviews, and 600,000 MTV Movies & Splash Blog pageviews. The widget itself was installed over 14,500 times, drawing 4.4 million views.

Of course, the MTV Video Music Awards are like the Super Bowl for music (actually, more like the half-time show with all the rock stars and what-not) so the MTV News team threw together another widget for the second Twilight: New Moon trailer. Check it out below …
